Józsefvárosi piac

The market closest to the city center, the Józsefvárosi piac is informally known as "Four Tigers," an allusion to the tremendous presence of Chinese vendors. The market, situated on the side of a railroad yard, near the Józsefváros Station, operates daily from 6am to 6pm.
You can get there by Tram: 28 from Blaha Lujza tér (Red line metro) or 36 from Baross tér (Keleti Station, Red line metro), and get off at Orczy tér (4th station on line 28, from Blaha Lujza). From there you have 500 m walk.

EUROLINES links BUDAPEST and VIENNA

Buses are very frequent between these two beautiful cities. For instance, you could leave in both directions between 7:00 and 19:00 pm at least five times. Buses to Vienna leave from Népliget central bus station. You can easily get to Nepliget central bus station by taking the metro (red metro line) and getting off at Népliget station (approx. 15-20 min from the city center, Deák tér station). In Vienna bust stops at Erdberg - stop of metro line U3. Bus travel time is an average 3 hours. You can see Eurolines for more details, and or by your ticket online.

Eurolines operates most of the international and domestic coaches from Budapest, and also the regional lines and the ones traversing the agglomeration. There are coaches to 14 different countries (Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, ) from Népliget station.

Tropicarium Budapest

Tropicarium do not only present a part of the deep sea world but also a tiny bit of a tropical rainforest, where the sky thunders every quarter of an hour, rain starts to fall and lightning zigzags over the lazily lying Mississippi alligators. Besides, the Tropicarium can boast with the largest sea aquarium in all Central Europe, the shark aquarium containing 1.4 million litres of salt water, housing 8 two-meter-long sharks and hundreds of colourful fish of other species, swimming around in peaceful harmony. In addition to the enormous fish-tank, there are 50 other ‘smaller' aquariums and terrariums (meaning 5-40.000 litres each!) on site.

Working time is  - Every day of the year between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. - The ticket office closes at 7 p.m.

Accessibility:By car directly from motorways M0, M1 and M7, via highway 6 or from Nagytétényi út. (Free parking facility of 1800 places for cars and buses).
 
By bus from Móricz Zs. körtér by bus 3, from Kosztolányi D. tér by bus 14 and 114. Bus 233 connects with the city centre (Astoria, Ferenciek tere).
Visitors have to take off all three buses at the bus stop in Lépcsős utca.

By train: Through the train station named Budatétény next to the Campona.
